Oshi no Ko is the most hyped up and popular shows of this season. And although the reception to the show has been generally positive, there is a loud minority of "fans" that are ruining it for everyone in every toxic way imaginable.

From Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey to Disney's Star Wars spin-off series, The Mandalorian, visual effects are breaking barriers and conventions year after year.
Taking us through some of these pivotal VFX moments in film history is visual effects artist Steven Bray, who's worked on shows including The Crown, Sherlock and Silent Witness.
Join Bray as he breaks down Yul Brynner's heat vision in Westworld, Jurassic Park's CGI dinosaurs and those Davy Jones tentacles from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

HEATWAVE
Directed by Fokion Xenos
https://www.fokionxenos.com/
"When I first saw Heatwave over a year ago, I never thought that such a fun-filled short would one day bring tears to my eyes. But with the last specks of hope for a summer beach holiday being cruelly washed away by an altogether different kind of wave, it has very nearly done just that. Created by Fokion Xenos, while studying at the National Film & Television School, this seven-minute award-winning (it won the prestigious Mclaren Award for Best New Animation at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and a Royal Television Society award for Best Student Animation) stop-motion offers an irresistible package of humour, charm and technical wizardry and warms the heart by bringing its audience a ray of sunshine, at a time when we need it most.
Using oven-baked clay puppets, the short captures a snapshot of a day on a beautiful Greek island during a heatwave. From sizzling flesh to scorching sand, melting ice creams and collapsing sandcastles, the comedic opportunities are countless and Xenos has taken full advantage and delivered first class visual humour. Every scene and every frame in Heatwave has been crafted with flair and care, and the result is a cheeky tribute that delights children and adults alike.
“Heatwave is essentially an ode to the Greek summer of my childhood and every summer since”, the director explains as he reminisces on the inspiration behind his short. “I find there is a tendency to make dark and pessimistic films these days, especially if you are a student. Heatwave however, is a film about being grateful and brave. Starting the project I knew I wanted to pay homage to the summer of my childhood and the playfulness that I still find lingering in this season”.
The fact that this was a project close to Xenos’ heart is obvious, and it’s ultimately what makes Heatwave such a crowd-pleaser. It’s the kind of personal connection to your work, which allows you to poke fun at it, but always with love, respect and a pinch of nostalgia. Having spent many hot summers on the beach when I was growing up, Heatwave brought some long-forgotten memories flooding back – the unsightly flesh on display, the screaming children, the sand that sticks to your bits and the self-inflicted torture that is sunbathing – and has given me renewed appreciation for those blissful days and a deep longing to experience them again.
“A beach can be the microcosmos of a society I guess, and it is easier to observe how similarly we behave when we are all exposed under the sun in our swimsuits. I find something humane and funny about that” – Xenos summed it up perfectly.
After a summer spent mainly indoors, with autumn rearing its miserable head and the possibility of a second lockdown on the horizon, Heatwave delivers exactly what we need – a scrumptious slice of pure happiness and warmth, to help us through the upcoming months." - S/W Curator Serafima Serafimova

In This Video, I will give my honest review of one of the worst anime of the Winter 2023 Season. My content is satire in nature and while it may sound like I disliked the anime it's mostly bad jokes. I will be talking about what makes it one of the most popular anime of the season ... by insulting everything about it. Season 1 of this anime was released on Jan 7, 2023. This anime will probably not be renewed for another season. There is no manga or light novel since this is an anime original. This video contains Major spoilers so be aware if you plan on watching the anime. This anime is not currently available in the English dub.

Once you have your shape open it. Duplicate the shape within the shape layer.
Then go to add and select repeater. Place the repeated into the bottom shape.
Increase the copies to about 30.
And open transform repeater.
Set the scale to 99%. You may want to adjust the anchor point to position your fake 3D look.
Now you can select either shape and change the color.
Feel free to add a trim path to animate your lined shape and that’s it!

In this video, I show you how I learned to animate from no experience. Using simple, practical, and repeatable techniques, I was able to achieve a level of animation I only dreamed of. You can follow the exact same steps as I did to achieve similar or even better results. 💪🏼
In my last video, I learned how to draw in 7 days with no experience. Taking my drawing skills I just learned, I applied it to animation to create what you are seeing today. I couldn't even believe that I was able to reach a good level of animation in such a short period of time.
This is my very first time doing animation. If you have any tips that you would like to share, post it in the comments! It won't only be helpful for me, but for anyone else trying to improve their animation skills.

Random gags around military life, set on an army base. A bugler uses a jukebox to play reveille. In formation, one private has a great deal of trouble remembering what comes after "3"; after he gets it, he decides not to go for the $32 question. In the mess hall, the machine gunners machine gun their food while the bombers catch falling biscuits. The infantry marches for miles - past a "next time, take the train" billboard. The camouflage troops march by, invisibly. We see training substitutes: wooden guns, cars marked "tank" and, alas, a banner marked "parachute" deployed in mid-jump. More training: aerial games (of tic-tac-toe). The anti-aircraft division has target practice, on an aerial shooting gallery. Finally, in an elaborate process, a general provides firing instructions to a big gun; when it hits his own building, he says, "I'm a baaad general."

What voice over equipment do you need to produce good quality voice-over from home?
When you’re starting out, it may seem rather daunting to create at home exactly what you’ve seen or experienced at a professional recording studio.
But you really don’t need that much equipment to start with!
I am a professional voice-over, and I work in very many professional studios, yet none of my clients have ever noticed any difference in the recordings I have done in top London studios, and in my own home studio.
I have honestly never, ever had a recording rejected from my home studio on technical grounds.
To start off with, all you really need is a microphone, a cable, and a digital recorder. Many people mess around with computer interfaces, pre-amps and record on their own computer direct, but there are some amazing good quality digital recorders out there like the Marantz professional range which have very clean pre-amplification circuitry, better “head room” than most computer audio boards, and saves you any issues with a computer interface.
You simply plug your microphone into your digital recorder via the XLR cable. Do your recording, and then connect your digital recorder to your computer via USB. Of course, this is going to be a pain if you do a lot of recordings, but in my opinion, it’s a good way to start out.
So, a microphone is essential, and a bit like with Harry Potter’s wand, the “microphone chooses you”. Ideally you would go into a music and technology store and try the mikes out. Your type of voice may sound far better on certain microphones, and some microphones may exaggerate some imperfections of your voice, like sibilance.
Don’t use headphones, record using a variety of microphones in your price range, and then hear back the playback on decent speakers in a quiet room at the technology store. If you are on a budget, the Sennheiser MK4 is excellent value. If you have a bit more money in your budget, the NEUMANN TLM103 or TLM 102 will sound even richer and more detailed in the subtleties of your voice, and if money is no object the NEUMANN U87 is georgeous….but basically any good large diaphragm condenser microphone is what you are looking for, and you may find a good used microphone that has been looked after.
Then of course you will need a microphone stand, an “anglepoise” type affair is the best and a cradle for keeping the microphone in, so it doesn’t pick up any vibrations. Then you will need a double pop filter in front of the microphone, this stops the nasty plosive sounds on certain syllables!
So where are you going to read your script from? The problem is, if you have an old laptop, with whirring hard disks and a fan, that is going to be too noisy close to your microphone. So, invest in a solid-state laptop, or use an iPad as these don’t have noisy fans or hard disks!
This is a list of basic equipment you should need for a voice-over studio, but of course the location of your recording is all important too! In my home studio, which is close to an airport, I have had to have secondary glazing, as well as double glazing to keep out noise. However, it’s not just a very quiet location you need. It must be what is known as a “dead” audio location as well. Surround yourself with curtains, drapes, anything soft to absorb the sound, and minimise any hard surfaces. Ideally, if you have a dedicated space, you would buy proper acoustic tiles, and glue them to the walls.
Anyway I hope you have found this useful, and if you’d like more details of how to set up your voice-over business and market yourself to boost your voiceover income to a 6 figure income, you are welcome to visit our site http://voiceovermasterclass.com
