So you can create stop motion animated films with so many different types of materials. I think one of the most effective materials to use, of course, would be clay. And clay is a great great material for stop motion animation because it's so easy to change the form of clay. When animating with clay, you would apply the same rules you apply when you are animating with found objects. You would do things in small increments.
So we have a ball of green clay here, set up with our camera pointing down to it. We're lighting with this little clip light. We have our computer, with which we'll take pictures of the clay by hitting the space bar. And we'll move our clay a little bit. We could also, not just move it, we can change it. I'm moving the clay a little and I'm taking my thumbs and pressing it a little bit flat. Taking a picture. Move it. Flatten it. Take a picture.
It's great to take your time with your animation. Don't rush through. There's that sound. I'm going to flatten it out a bit more. Take a picture. Maybe we'll start to flatten it and split it as well. We're going to go in here.
I'm just using my fingers to press into the clay and make these changes. I'm going to go ahead and start to really separate it. Take a picture. This is something that you want to happen gradually, in small increments, not necessarily all at once. A little more. Picture. Move it a little more. I'm pinching and breaking the clay in the middle just a bit. And there's a moment right before it's going to snap.
And now these separate pieces will fly out of the frame.
Something you will notice is that the clay will leave behind a little bit of clay sometimes, or a little bit of oil. And that's OK. If you prefer not to have that oil left behind, you can animate on a wipeable surface, a dry erase board, a piece of plexiglass. In this case, you will see a little of that oil because we are animating on paper.
Now that those pieces have gone completely out of the frame, I'll take a few more pictures, and we'll play our film.
And that's just a very very basic approach to animating with clay. There's a lot you can do with the clay.
That's just a start.
Ever since we got that PV Trailer for My Tiny Senpai last week, I've noticed a uptick in toxicity for the Romance Genre as a whole. Many are becoming clout goblins that don't even watch anime to cancel the genre.

Take a look behind the scenes of digital characters creation, in this step-by-step video. You'll find out about the history, and contemporary techniques used for those spectacular VFX creations.
From the first time Georges Melies shot the moon’s eye out with some over-powered artillery, the visual effects of movies have helped filmmakers like Geroge Lucas take us to new worlds, helped Stanley Kubrick visualize our most far-reaching dreams, and helped filmmakers like James Cameron, and John Carpenter bring our greatest fears and impossible creatures to life.
For over a century, special effects have helped Hollywood realize impossible visions. Now, computers, pixels, and CGI have become the dominant force in vfx, but in this movie list, we’re talking about the old-school art of practical effects. This is for sure going to be a long one. So get ready for a fascinating VFX breakdown or two or ten, because we’re going to take a deep dive into the behind the scenes magic of some of your favorite action movies, sci fi movies, and horror movies with CineFix’s Top 10 Practical Effects of All Time.

Do you want to learn the secrets of Quentin Tarantino Filmmaking? Everyone knows that Quentin Tarantino Movies generate a lot of buzz, like his new film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. His unique filmmaking and directing style is able to attract the biggest movie stars like Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Leonardo Dicaprio.
His career may have began with Reservoir Dogs, but it truly took off after the success of his second feature film, Pulp Fiction. Once the world was able to see films like Jackie Brown and then Kill Bill — It was all uphill from there. Quentin Tarantino went on to make Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, and The Hateful Eight. His least successful film, Death Proof, is still miles better than many other director’s best films.
In this episode of The Director’s Chair, we take Quentin Tarantino interview and quotes to build a video that explains his unique style… straight from the horse’s mouth. You’ll see how QT crafted some of the greatest moments in cinema, and learn some film theory in our video essay portion, then see some filmmaking process.
Are you excited for the new Quentin Tarantino movie? Do you want to learn from arguably the most popular film director working today? Then make sure to check out this video: The Director’s Chair on Quentin Tarantino’s Filmmaking style.

Are you here because of DnD? or perhaps you are one of many people who would like to work as voiceover artists but will probably never get the opportunity. Despite it being an oversaturated industry already, it's also full of extremely talented and dynamic speakers which makes the competition fiercely high when trying to get into this field.
That said, most people are only able to speak in their own voice, accent and language. Very few can make careers using multiple voices...but the ones that do make an absolute killing.
This is why it's really worth investing the time into learning how to nurture this skill properly so that you can stand out and create dynamic, eclectic but most importantly believable characters.
This video aims to help you achieve this by offering a checklist of characteristics to think about when developing your character's voice.

Step One – Have you got what it takes?
To be a successful voice over, here are ten personal characteristics you really need to have:
1. You need to genuinely enjoy speaking without being self-conscious.
2. No matter what your accent is, your voice needs to be clear and understandable.
3. You’d have an excellent understanding of English grammar, both formal and colloquial English.
4. You need a good level of computer literacy; you need to be able to record and edit your own scripts at home; if you pay someone else to do this or hire a studio, your profit will plummet.
5. You need to be able to sight-read scripts easily and accurately.
6. You have to speak in a natural manner, and interpret the empathy of the message, and not just talk as if you’re just reading words off a script.
7. Particularly when recording audiobooks with character voices, you’d need to have the ability to change your voice quickly, to change the mood, speed and style of your voice and stay rock-solid in that style.
8. You need to be able to follow detailed instructions from the client, either by headphones in a directed session or by email when they leave you to self-direct, and be good at responding fast to minimize retakes.
9. You need to be able to take criticism about your voice performances constructively.
10. And you need to have plenty of stamina for long or complicated reads.
Step Two – You need to build a Home Recording Studio
Step Three – Check your Internet Speed
Step Four – You’ll need to record a selection of showreels
Step Five – Create your voiceover website
Step Six – Get featured on various job websites
Step Seven – Direct market yourself
Step Eight – Set up an accounts system
Step Nine – Regularly update your website
Step Ten- Buy a Porsche...
Or whatever makes you happy….hopefully you’ll love doing this work anyway, but give yourself a target to aim towards to help that psychological push to bigger and better jobs as a voice actor.
